Lazy cats and “ugly leaves”

This project was started by a lazy cat and a human living in China since 2015 with a special passion Wuyi Yancha “rock wulong” tea and hoping to share this tea with audiences all over the world. Since then another human and another cat joined the project.

You will find here some teas  we select each year from Wuyishan, where we are based, sourced from different producers. We believe tea speaks for itself and try to keep it simple. None of this would be possible without the help of an amazing group of people and friends to whom we are deeply grateful.

Drinking tea is a daily ongoing learning experience, so far we believe that the most compelling teas don’t come from the prettiest leaves but rather from the uneven, irregular and ugly ones. We hope that you will find the ugly leaves we select interesting to drink and share.
