Name | Qi Dan 奇丹, literally mean "strange red". Da Hong Pao 大红袍 literally means "big red robe". This famous name indicates a group of old trees, a location where they grow and a lot of different yancha blends. Basically is easier to sell tea called a famous name. There is also a legend involving tea from the famous "mother" bushes and the emperor that supposedly explains how the name was chosen. |
