Tea – Yancha Wulong
Harvest – Spring 2017
Origin –Unnamed Mountain (Ban Yan)
Shuixian is with Rougui one of the most common cultivar in yancha wulong although the two are quite different. The leaves of Shuixian are slightly bigger than most other yancha varieties and if left to grow it will reach few meters of height after around 80 years to be called “Lao Cong ” meaning “old bush” .
This Shuixian is from a nice location without name very near the zhengyan protected area. While not made from old bushes, this tea has however a very clear and nice shuixian flavor making it perfect for daily drinking or learning the character of this cultivar.
Price is for 50 g.
